Evergreen Education Foundation Scholarship Programs: 

Surrounding each library site, Evergreen will provide scholarships for promising students with financial need. We already have an initial group of scholarship students from Qing Hai and more will be added this year.

 Each scholarship student is expected to contribute by serving in their school library as assistants. Students must go through a strict application process and Evergreen will establish a panel of educators each year to evaluate and select the winners. 

A mentor program has already started to provide guidance and feedback by corresponding directly with the students. Each year, a representative from Evergreen will go to the site and place the scholarships directly in 
each student's hands and home visits will be made on a random basis to ensure that quality has not been compromised.
