Procedure, Guidelines, and Requirements - How to submit your paper

How to submit a paper for ITIE 2014:

  1. Submit an Abstract and Author introduction: extended to June 25th, 2014
  2. Notification of initial acceptance of abstracts by the Review Panel July 15th, 2014
  3. Send completed paper and any presentation material (ie. Power Point slides) by August 15th, 2014
  4. Proceedings publication deadline is August 15th, 2014
  5. Present your paper at the conference on October 27th-28th, 2014

All papers are to be in English or Chinese and the presenter must be fluent in English or Chinese.

Abstract and Author Introduction Procedure

Potential contributors are asked to submit via email attachment an abstract and author introduction for initial consideration by the deadline indicated. Each abstract will be blind reviewed by members of the ITIE2014 review panel. The authors of the accepted abstracts will be notified by the date indicated, and s/he will need to submit a complete paper by August15th, 2014. All accepted papers will be scheduled for presentation at the conference, and a second round of peer review will be conducted to select full papers for publishing in the conference proceedings.

Abstracts of no more than 350 words should be in English or Chinese. Acceptable file formats for an abstract include Word and PDF. An abstract should be submitted as an e-mail attachment or using our ONLINE submission.

Please provide author introductions for all the collaborative authors of a paper. Each author introduction includes: The author's personal full contact details and a brief author's bio..

Abstracts and author introductions are due on June 1th, 2014. We accept MS Word format or PDF format when submitting via email to itie2014@evergreeneducation.org. Please indicate under which theme your paper should be considered. Notification of initial acceptance of abstracts will be sent by July 15th, 2014. It will be sent to corresponding authors via email from itie2014@evergreeneducation.org.

Completed Paper and Presentation Procedure

Papers should be in English or Chinese, and the presenter must be fluent in English or Chinese.

Acceptable file formats include MS Word and PDF. Use the following rules:

Presentation format: Papers will be presented at the conference using a maximum of 20 Power Point slides at 20 seconds each.

For all conference materials, we only accept electronic copies and no hardcopy is accepted. Conference Proceedings publication deadline is August 15th, 2014.

The proceedings of itie2014 will be provided to delegates in the form of CD-ROM. The Review Panel will also serve as the Editorial Committee of the proceedings.
