EVERGREEN'S EFFORTS SINCE IT WAS FOUNDED IN THE YEAR 2001:
STUDENTS THAT WE HAVE SUPPORTED:
- Currently completed 10 rural libraries (+8 satellite libraries) in 5 provinces with 4 in process
- 190 scholarship students
SEMINAR & TOUR AREA
- 14 Rural school libraries with additional 8 satellite libraries
- Held librarian training workshop in Datong, Qinghai in 2002
- Held a teachers training workshop in Xining, Qinghai in 2003
- Held an internation conference in Beijing in 2004
- Held a librarian workshop in TianZhu, Gansu in 2005
- Will hold another international conference in Kunming, Yunnan in 2006
GRADUATION RATIO OF STUDENTS BEING SUPPORTED BY EVERGREEN:
- 36 students went on to attain college education
- 5 students went on to Normal school who will become teachers after graduation
- Estimated students/teachers/rural residents directly impacted by our effort (Well over 20,000)
