Papers & Reports. 

Contributions in this category may be empirical research, theoretical analysis, discussion on policy and infrastructure, course/curriculum design, and project/program reports.


Procedure

Potential contributors are asked to submit,either via email attachment or by completing the online submission form (click the link at the end of this paragraph to see the form), an initial abstract of between 100 to300 words for initial consideration, and all submissions will be anonymously refereed. Accepted proposals will be scheduled for presentation at the conference, and the author will need to submit a complete paper by a given deadline before the conference. A second round of peer review will be conducted to select adequate full papers for publishing in the conference proceedings. Please click here to submit your abstract OR register/login and then submit your abstract

  • Initial abstracts are due on 4/1/2004,
  • Notification of initial acceptance will be sent out by 4/15/2004


Full Paper Requirements

Submitted papers must not substantially overlap papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference. Papers should be not longer than 10 (including everything), double spaced,, using 12-point Times New Roman or other equivalent font, with reasonable margins on letter-size paper. Papers should have a cover page with the title, authors, abstract, and contact information. In case of multiple authors, one of them shall be designated as the contact person. 

Submissions sent as an attachment to an email should be sent to the following address: itie2004@wahoo.sjsu.edu. No hardcopy is accepted.

Acceptable file formats include Word, WordPerfect, PDF, and RTF. 

  • Full papers a re due on 5/15/2004 
  • Final notification of full paper acceptance will be sent by 6/15/2004

Teaching/Courseware Demonstration. 

Contributions in this category may be demonstration of instructional techniques and/or courseware in any subject fields. Each teaching demo will be paired in presentation with one from the other side of the Pacific Ocean, in the same discipline, whenever possible. 

Potential contributors are asked to submit, either via email attachment or using the form below, a proposal of between 100 to300 words for consideration and should include a listing of subject and/or topic, grade level and a description of teaching methodology. All submissions will be anonymously refereed. Accepted proposals will be scheduled for presentation at the conference together with a paired presentation.
